Ryan currently oversees the company's fleet of 35 aircraft and also holds a skydiving licence himself with over 100 skydives under his belt. Ryan's total aeronautical experience is in excess of 6,000 hours.
Ryan is the owner and operator of Australia's only CASA Part 141 accredited Jump Pilot Training provider, The Australian Jump Pilot Academy and is one of the APF's inaugural Jump Pilot Training Examiners and holds a position on the APF's Aviation Standards Committee.
Ryan is a dedicated father of three boys who also share his passion of aircraft and aviation.
He was trained in the RNZAF as an aircraft technician where he served for 8 years before travelling and contracting in New Zealand and around the world working on various large airliners and military aircraft.
Prior to moving back home to Wanaka, Brad gained valuable experience and license ratings on GA aircraft and helicopters in Taupo. Ratings include Group 1 and 2 fixed wing and helicopters, Group 1 and 2 Powerplant, Bell 204 and 222, AS355. Turbine engine ratings include PT6, TPE331, RR250, LTS101 and Arriel. Brad also holds an IA certificate from CAA.
He trained with the RNZAF as an avionics technician where he served for 13 years primarily based in Auckland working on C-130s and Boeing 757s. Before joining Performance Aviation, Pete gained valuable experience and license ratings on GA aircraft and helicopters in Taupo. Ratings include Group 1 electrical, Group 1 and 2 instruments, Group 1, 2 and 3 Radios, Group 1 Aeroplanes, Airbus AS350 and 355 as well as Bell 222. Pete has also completed an IA course with CAA which allows him to carry out conformity inspections on major avionics modifications and repairs. He has also completed several Garmin dealer training sessions.
