Mark Whalley is the Operations Manager Aircraft at Performance Aviation, where he oversees aircraft operations and fleet coordination to ensure assets are positioned safely, efficiently, and on schedule across the network.
With more than 11 years at Performance Aviation and over 4,500 flight hours on the Cessna Caravan (C208), Mark brings extensive operational experience across freight, charter, and specialised aviation operations. Since commencing Caravan operations in 2012, he has conducted flights ranging from short regional sectors through to extended month-long touring operations across Australia.
Passionate about both aviation and skydiving, Mark is recognised for his practical operational knowledge, reliability, and commitment to delivering high-quality aviation services.

Lucas is a seasoned commercial pilot with over 12 years experience in the aviation industry, ammassing in excess of 3,000 flight hours, primarily on the Cessna Caravan. Hailing from New Zealand’s South Island, he relocated to Australia in 2022 and now acts as the Head of Flight Operations as well as Training & Checking at Performance Aviation.
During his decade-long tenure with Performance Aviation, Lucas has developed extensive operational expertise across a broad spectrum of commercial aviation activities, with a strong emphasis on safety, consistency, and high-tempo flight operations. Outside of aviation, Lucas enjoys camping, mountain biking, and exploring the great outdoors.

Neil Tucker has been flying since 1985 and instructing since 1995 across both Australia and the United States. With more than 11,000 flight hours — including over 10,000 hours as Pilot in Command — Neil brings extensive experience across turbine, multi-engine, and instrument operations.
A dual Australian and U.S. ATPL holder, Neil is a Grade 1 Flight Instructor with broad instructional privileges, including turbine endorsement training on the Cessna Caravan across both PT6 and TPE331 platforms. Throughout his career, he has played a significant role in developing pilot capability and maintaining compliance with Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA) standards.
From 2008 to 2016, Neil flew for the Royal Flying Doctor Service, operating in remote and time-critical aeromedical environments across Australia.

ack has been a professional pilot for the past three years and relocated to Tropical North Queensland in 2024 to further advance his aviation career. As Northern Region Senior Pilot, he plays a pivotal role in ensuring safe and efficient flight operations throughout Queensland.
Passionate about aviation and operational excellence, Jack continues to build his expertise in high-tempo turbine aircraft operations. Outside of aviation, he is an avid golfer—reportedly playing off scratch—and enjoys managing his fantasy NRL team each season.
